They don't last - not worth buying

I bought two boxes of these (so 16 lights). Two didn't work right out of the box. Another 3 stopped working within 2 months. Now, after using them for 5 months, another 3 have stopped working and 2 are dimming. I'm sure that before long, none will work anymore - and they're not cheap. Definitely not worth the price.

Q: The composite posts I have are exactly 3.75"x3.75". Is there anyway these would fit?

A: I’m pretty sure they would. Mine are on 4 by 4 pressure treated wood posts, which are the same size as yours. Open the package carefully to try one. Canadian Tire is very good about returns.

Q: Recently purchased and worked great the last 2 weeks , only to notice this evening it is blinking and not illuminated. Is this normal?

A: This happens to mine when it's cloudy and there isn't enough sun to charge them well. I replaced the batteries with better ones, and that helped significantly.

A: They are powered by rechargeable AA batteries. I had to replace 3 this year but they are different that the ones I already had. I don't like them as well because they don't shine as bright.
