NOMA Pre-Lit Yukon Pine Christmas Tree with Tree Stand, 1500 Incandescent Lights, 12-ft

Ordered the tree online, I opened it and it looked used and rusted. I wish it said that online but it served its purpose

We bought this to replace our 20yr old one. Extremely disappointed! VERY flimsy! Base doesn't lift off the floor but the tree rocks back and forth if you even brush by it so ornaments keep falling off. There are huge gaps between the sections that no amount of fluffing can fix. Three "branches" were bent when we took it out of the box.

I purchased this $1000.00 Christmas Tree from Canadian Tire in Squamish, BC as it was close to our vacation home in Whistler BC. For some strange reason this Canadian Tire location no longer provides a delivery service to Whistler (1 hour away!) I had to engage the "Sea to Sky Courier" to pick up and deliver the tree which cost over $160.00. The tree arrived in it's original box. It is a heavy and tall tree so I had to pay someone to put it in place. When they opened the box we were missing Section B and had two (2) Section C's so it could not be assembled for our Christmas! I called the Squamish store and spoke to "apparently" the Manager of Customer Service and they were totally unwilling to do anything to assist. I was told that it was a manufacturer problem and that it had nothing to do with Canadian Tire. There was no apology, no offer of assistant to return the tree, no offer of any form of compensation - and then she told me that there were many problems with the NOMA trees and that many times the lights don't work! My response was that I was shocked to hear a store manager admit that Canadian Tire was knowingly selling a faulty product to customers. I was then forced to hire and pay someone to load the tree back into their truck and drive it down to the Cambie Street Canadian Tire in Vancouver which is near my Vancouver residence - so that I could meet them there and get a refund on my credit card. I must say that the Customer Service rep at the Cambie Street location could not have been more helpful - and she was shocked to hear how the Squamish BC store had brushed off the whole situation and further surprised that I was not allowed to speak to the franchise owner/Manager of the Squamish store. Our Whistler home was left without a Christmas Tree for the holidays. The Cambie Street Front End Manager provided me with the phone number for the corporate headquarters back east so that I could apprise them of the situation - which I fully intend to do. So I paid $1007.99 for the tree, plus 2 delivery fees - all for nothing!
