These bulbs are absolute garbage

I have not got more than 18 months from a Noma LED bulb. These particular bulbs have not last more than 5 months. Three of them died. Absolute garbage.

Q: Do these LED bulbs cast any light to the side, within the globe they are in? Original 50 Watt halogen GU10s did this, making the glass globes of track light heads glow, while conventional GU10 LED replacements cast all light forward, leaving globes dark.
