Q: Do these require a transformer? I'm rewiring a free standing lamp that had halogens and the original transformer dimmer switch is dead. Can I rewire these without a transformer?

Warm LED small flood lights with GU10 base

The bulbs have just the right warm light. Much better than the bluish "cold" mini spot lights.

Great replacement bulb and reasonably priced when on sale

Used this to replace the burnt out halogen bulb on our kitchen track lighting. It shows a single uniform light on its face. You don't see the individual LEDs compared to the other ones that I've previously bought. Brightness is fairly reasonable and is equivalent to other LED brands. No comment on durability or longevity as I've only installed it not even a month ago, with average daily use time of 6 hours.
