Light fixture fit perfectly

2 or the 3 hallogen lights went out and needed to replace them. The sample I brought to the store to find a match. Customer service helped me get the right bulb and it works perfectly

Overpriced and no longevity

Overpriced and they don't last long. We have several fixtures in our home that require this type of bulb, and we are replacing them almost every second month. Many of our bathroom fixtures require 5-6 of these bulbs therefore, we are forced to replace numerous bulbs on an overly frequent basis. They look fine, however having to replace 5-6 of the same $9.00 bulbs every 60 days is pretty extreme. We are looking to replace some of our high end light fixtures as a result.

A: Yes it is somewhat bright when you look directly at it, however, ours is fairly high in bathroom fixture and we have a dimmer, so not a problem It gives good bright light, we have 3 in our light fixture

A: ZX is not referenced for this product. ZE however is for Zenon. Some halogens are made with this gas, but not this one..

Q: Can this halogen bulb (T4 Base G9) be used in an oven setting? Your product info indicates the bulb is recommended for "task lighting". What do you mean by "task lighting"? Is oven lighting considered to be a "task" for this bulb? I am replacing an existing G9 bulb in an Electrolux oven. Thanks.

A: These bulbs are typically found in lamps; that is what is meant by task lighting. They can certainly be used in other applications. If your appliance calls for this type of bulb, use this type of bulb.
