LED Lamps fail to last guaranteed hours ; KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS for refund if necessary

There were purchased to replace identical bulbs purchased about 6 months ago that have failed. No, I do not have receipts, so refund was not available, but they were on sale and "the only available option" so purchased again. The warranty that says these LED Lamps last 15,000 hours is clearly not accurate. Have had multiple cases of these NOMA LED Lamps not meeting warranty hours.

Q: Are they rated for an enclosed fixture?

A: Depends on fixture Watt rating too. I have some in my outdoor closed fixtures. Most LEDs shouldn't run too warm anyway (hence the issue with heat dissipation for some old filament bulbs and fixtures) but keep in mind Noma LED quality and manufacturing standards can be a crapshoot sometimes. (Not to dis' CT in-house brand but I gotta be honest as I've had a lot of Noma stuff fail after a year or 2!)
