Not for me

These bulbs did not work for me. Our light fixture has two bulbs. When I put the first bulb in it worked great. But when I put the 2nd bulb in the lights both dimmed and provided inadequate light. I went back to the store & bought the similar product in a warm white and it was perfect.

Doesn't last long

I often buy the NOMA LED Light Bulbs, 5000K (day light). They don't last long as the warm light models. However, I can't find a more cost effective alternative. Also, you can claim warranty. Just keep the receipt.

Replaced bubs in kitchen. Noticed that at times this bulbs flicker and the dimmable option is only 2 settings rather than a scale that you get with incandescents.

Q: Do these give off any kind of heat? I want to put it in an extendable desk lamp that I will be pretty close too, many bulbs give off too much heat to be comfortable for long.

A: It seems that LED bulbs are not compatible with all run-of-the-mill dimmer switches. Chances are that an LED bulb will not operate properly with an older existing dimmer switch. Truthfully, LED bulb labelling should indicate that the bulb is dimmable only with SELECTED dimmer switches. Dimmer switch packaging these days will indicate whether the product is compatible with LED bulbs.
