I must have misunderstood what this storage reel was for. It must be designed for a different type of extension cord because the 100 foot extension cord I purchased for my electric snowblower will in no way shape or form fit on this reel. I will keep it in case I can use it with a smaller cord. I mean no disrespect to the makers of this product. I'm just a bit confused.

A: One end of the cord plugs into the hub. The round yellow portion with the black handle rotates. The reel rotates to wind the cord around the hub.

A: We suggest to unwind the cord before plugging it into an outlet. Current flowing through the cord will generate heat. For safety, unwind the cord to prevent heat accumulation.
