MotoMaster Type F Automatic Transmission Fluid is specially formulated for pre-1980 Ford vehicles and other models requiring a Ford Type F or M2C33-F fluid. The fluid itself is made with select, refined base stocks and additives that enhance oxidation and thermal stability, friction control, cleanliness, load carrying ability, corrosion, wear protection, and low foam tendency. Ideal for automatic transmissions and power steering units in older Ford vehicles, this MotoMaster ATF meets original equipment specifications for optimal performance.
Specially formulated for automatic transmissions and power steering units where a Ford Type F or M2C33-F fluid is recommended
Type F fluids are typically recommended for Ford automatic transmissions built prior to the 1977 model year as well as many 1977 through 1980 models

Q: The owner's manual on my Ford Escape calls for Mercon ATF power steering fluid - is this product compatible?
12 years agoA: No, this is an older Ford spec. You should be using a Dexron/Mercon ATF. The applicable Motomaster SKU in a 946mL size is 028-1502.
