Q: Can it be used to clean volume control on electric guitars
6 years agoA: Thank you for the inquiry. This product while designed for cars, can be used if applied with care on some other items. However, you must take precautions to prevent the material from getting on other parts of the guitar such as surfaces as this can potentially cause some damage. As well, follow instructions on the label as to how to apply.this product. We recommend you first follow the guitar manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning the electronic parts of the instrument to see if the product is suited for that purpose.

Q: Would this cleaner be suitable for cleaning the joystick on a Nintendo Switch joycon? I am having some stick drifting issues and many places recommend using fast drying electrical contact cleaners.
6 years agoA: Thank you for your inquiry. Depending on where you are planning to apply the Contact Cleaner product, may help clean the joy stick. We would suggest trying to follow any direction from the manufacturer has with regards to the maintenance and cleaning of the device.

a month agoA: Yes it can but there is no guarantee it will fix the problem It could be a loose wire or connection A frayed or worn contact point as well as a host of other possibilities Consult a mechanic or electrician for other options

5 months agoA: I wouldn’t, there is a mass airflow sensor cleaner available…. I wouldn’t be able to say if the contact cleaner wouldn’t damage the sensor.

Q: Can I use this product to clean a battery leak on the battery contacts of a minor electronic device?
5 years agoA: Thank you for the inquiry. You can use this product to clean battery contacts. However, for this specific application you will need to apply the product to a cloth first and then wipe the terminal. You should not spray this product directly onto the battery.
