Q: Can this be used for 6 volt batteries (tractor) as well?

A: This unit is designed for 12v battery; the meter and chart are all calibrated to 12V. Could you perform conversions to interpret the data for 6v? yes...but if you're needing to ask this question, you may not be comfortable performing that.

Better construction/more accurate than then blue fisted brand model that looks nearly identical. Best to pick it up on sale since these are not an overly complex device.
