Insufficient quality

The packaging is overly secure for one thing. Another thing is the cambuckles do not hold at all. I was using them to tie down the bed extender in my pickup box so basically holding down an 18 kg load. Both of them released while driving about 5 kilometres on dry pavement. No bumps, no washboard, just normal road vibration. There is no way that I would trust these with anything significant.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Just got these on sale. Great strap combo for what I need. To the people unable to remove them from packaging… lol I was expecting something crazy and got scissors and screwdrivers ready. Not needed just follow the little arrow instructions. Pull up n press down. 1 second they out! If not you could always put some muscle into it and rip them out.. either way lol reviews are fun. Strap em tight!

  • A: Depress spring load bar and open the ratchet handle completely (180 degrees) for releasing.

Q: How long are each of the cables? The packaging says 10 ft.. is that 10ft total or is each tie down 10 ft long?
