Q: I have a 2019 Honda CRF250F and been using the GN4 honda oil which has the SJ designation. Will this oil do the job ?

A: To correct an error in my answer: SA being the older oil and AN being the newest and best should read SN being the newest and best. However, someone pointed out the bottle label has an API designation of SJ and the online description is in error. If so, it’s good for your Honda but check the bottle in store.

A: Yes... product #28-1837-0 is 10W-40 product #28-1836-2 is 20W-50 Both are Motomaster Formula 1 Premium 4 stroke motorcycle oil.. BUT I don't know who makes this oil for CTC??? Gordoh.

A: Hi there thank you for your question. The MotoMaster Formula 1 4-stroke Motorcycle Oil 20W-50 is not based on synthetic base fluids.

A: Although a 20W -50 engine oil is recommended for that application it does involve a wet clutch, I would use only what the OEM suggests.

Q: Does this oil contain ZDDP additive? My Suzuki Motorcycle Recommends Motorcycle oil that has ZDDP additive for split fork rocker tappet system. Does this oil contain the ZDDP additive and if so how Many PPM of ZDDP does it contain? Thanks.

A: MotoMaster Formula 1 20W-50 Motorcycle Oil does contain zinc dithiophosphate (ZDDP) additive. The product typically contains about 1150 ppm zinc.

Q: I see you state that this product meets JASO MA. And that you have taken steps to have that added back to the label within the next month or so. But that was 11 months ago. Why is that labelling not on the package yet?

A: The MotoMaster Brand went through a label refresh over the past year and the label will be updated shortly for this product. This process of switching over labels will take some time for product to make its way through our warehouse and into stores at the front of the rack.
