says 5 functions only get 1

I just had this installed with my new bathroom and I only have one function for this spraying wand. I put a call in to the installers and they said they will come back. Is this normal? do you need special control handle to get all 5 functions to work? The one function I get is fine.

Disappointed

I have not been able to use yet as the shower glass hasn’t been installed. From what I can tell, tho, it feels like it is made with cheap plastic. I expected it to be better quality.
No, I do not recommend this product.
