The Metabo HPT 3-1/2-in 18V Paper Strip Collated D-Head Framing Nailer combines the power of pneumatic with cordless freedom. Powered by Metabo's 18V Lithium Ion battery (sold separately), it can drive up to 400 nails per charge. With no need for a compressor or hoses, it's ideal for punch-out work and framing applications on the jobsite. The unique air spring drive system delivers similar performance to a pneumatic nailer. It accepts round head plastic collated nails from 2-in to 3-1/2-in in length, and features tool-less depth of drive adjustment. Switch between sequential and bump fire modes right on the control panel. The brushless motor provides longer runtime, less maintenance, and increased durability. Best fencing nailer

Beast Mode! Better than the other colors.

I bought this to build a large shed. Before hand i had bought the DeWalt gun for the shed bought returned it a day later, nothing but jamming and too heavy. I then bought the Metabo and holy smokes it's night and day better. Amazing and not one jam during the whole project. 4000 nails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it last year and framed my entire house with it. The rafter hook is large enough to hook over 2x4 walls. The only thing that keep this from being a 5 star review is the plastic strip on the nails. They may have already fixed this problem with their new line. Sometimes the plastic that brakes off after shooting a nail will lodge in the gun and start to build up and maybe cause a jam. A bit of grease prevents this. Otherwise awesome nailer. Much lighter than other brands.
