Questions
Q: Why is this 3/4"? Are not most sockets 3/8"? Don't understand
3 years agoA: Here is a prime example, I used the maximum 1/2 in dr. bar (the smapper version of this one) to try and break loose an axle nut (honda) with a 36mm socket, 3/4in. dr. I used the maximum 1/2 to 3/4 in. dr. adapter, and it sheared the end right off that 1/2 in. dr. bar. That is why there is a 3/4 in. dr. bar. Had I used a 3/4 in. dr. bar I wouldn't have sheared the end off the tool. Thank goodness for the lifetime exchange warranty, which I am noticing that THIS tool apparently does NOT carry.. Interesting considering they are the same line.
