Dull cutter right out of the package

It would be nice if Canadian Tire cared a little about what the consumer is paying for...right out of the package, the main feature of being able to cut welding wire is largely useless. It had one or two good clean cuts, but immediately dulled to where I now have to try multiple times to cut standard .030 mild steel welding wire. And of course, it then cuts poorly so you're left starting the weld with a chiseled bit of wire.
