Q: can you use a different size blade? 8 1/4 inch are hard to find.
a year agoA: 8-1/4" saws are a growing trend in the tool category. As they continue to grow in popularity, more blades will be introduced to the assortments at all retailers. Currently, at CT, you can choose from items 54-0830, 54-0831, and 55-6953. Saws are designed and safety tested to strict standards that includes the size of the saw blade. Using a different size blade will represent a safety risk, and is definitely not recommended.
