Q: what are the wheels made of ?

A: Heavy duty grade plastic wheels with solid rubber tires with a good tread. They are excellent - quiet on pavement and interior flooring, big enough to be good in gravel, and they handled our Winnipeg icy and drifted snow sidewalks just fine on a job last week.
