Q: I have a 2016, 2WD Tacoma; it is an automatic and manual + –. Can I use it? And… i use just before an oil change – correct? Where do I pour it in?
2 years agoA: Hi Thank you for your inquiry. This is an Oil Additive and is added when an oil change is performed. The instructions state add 20% to your oil, which means if you use 5 liters in normal oil change you would only use 4 and one bottle of the stabilizer. We hope this answers your concern.

Q: Does anyone know if this is okay to use with the Mopar 5w20 Oil the dealership uses?? I'm told it's semi-synthetic. Likely just a standard oil. I have the oil changed every 5-8k kms. It's a 2016 ram 1500 5.7L w/mds.
2 years agoA: Yes, In addition to being great for your engine, you can also mix it 25% / 75% a manual transmission and 50% / 50% in the differential. Lucas Oil Stabilizer blends with any petroleum-based or synthetic oil, and is formulated for gasoline or diesel engines.

3 years agoA: Yes, you can use the Lucas Oil Synthetic Oil Stabilizer in these applications. This product is a petroleum base product, just make sure you read the bottle to use the proper amount for each vehicle.

Q: I have a 06 jetta tdi , do I add the whole bottle plus my oil and let me run for 20 mins after putting it in? What best thing to do?
3 years agoA: On a total of 5 qt or 5 Liter system I use 4 qt or 4 Liter of oil PLUS 1 bottle of the Lucas synthetic additive. No need to run for 20 min. Just get in and drive.

Q: Is ti safe to use in a 5.7 L Hemi with MDS ?
5 years agoA: If the vehicle your are using has miles on it (i.e. 50,000 or more) then the Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer will work. If it is a newer vehicle, we would suggest a Low Viscocity Oil Stabilizer.

Q: Is the Lucas OIl Stabilizer safe to use in a car with variable valve timing like a Honda? I have heard that the correct viscosity oil is very important in these engine and i want to know if this product affects viscosity. Regards, Brian
6 years agoA: Do not use our oil stabilizers if a vehicle has a Variable Valve Timing application. The viscosity is very important in these specific applications.

Q: Can I use this in a vehicle that requires 5W20 weight synthetic oil? I use 5W20 synthetic oil in my 2011 Hyundai Elantra GLS.
8 years agoA: Yes, you can use the product #38-0218 in synthetic oil. 5w20 will be fine.
