    I purchased this for the open back gears on a lathe headstock to give them some lubrication. The other gears run in an oil bath but these are changed to cut different thread pitches. Today it was running noisy so I added the grease which quieted the machine and should give the machine a longer life.

    I've always bought this grease to use in my 99 tercels rear wheel bearings I do a yearly check and bearings have yet to show signs of wear amazing stuff
