A pure petroleum multi-use oil supplement. Controls noise, heat and wear in manual transmissions and differentials. Number one in the heavy duty and high performance industries. Lucas Oil Stabilizer is a 100% petroleum product formulated to eliminate dry starts and reduce friction, heat and wear in any type of engine. It allows motor oils a higher degree of lubricity which reduces oil consumption and operating temperatures. Use Lucas Oil Stabilizer in gear oil to stop leaks, reduce operating temperatures and increase the life of the gear oil. Since it is pure petroleum, it can safely blend with all other automotive lubricants, even synthetics, ATF and mineral oil. It keeps old engines alive and new engines new. Q: How much do you add to five liters of oil? Is there a percentage added of the bottle to the various amounts of oil in different motors, or do you pour in the entire bottle? Thanks
16 years agoA: A whole bottle is the norm but I usually just add a few gulps of it as you dont need much. Just take off the lid and tilt it up side down and squeeze the bottle 3 times and thats it.

Q: I have a Ford F150, 2018 model. I have the "cold start rattle", which is reputed to be caused by the cam phasers. I would like to try this product to see if it would help. I am in Northern BC and we are going into the winter, will that be bad?

Q: I have a ram with 5.7 litre hemi. I've heard it has hydraulic lifters in it. Will this product be safe for it?
6 years agoA: Yes, you can use Lucas Oil Heavy Duty Oil stabilizer and it is safe for the motor. We would suggest starting with our Pure Synthetic Oil Stabilizer first to see if that helps. If not on the next oil change try the Heavy Duty Stabilizer.

9 years agoA: According to the vendor, Lucas Oil treatment is not meant for automatic transmissions. The vendor recommends Lucas Automatic Transmission Fluid Conditioner (038-0624) as an alternative, depending on what the consumer needs an additive for.

Q: Where to pour? I have 2008 Jeep Liberty, oil changed about month ago, do i pour the whole bottle into the engine oil place?
10 years agoA: i am not sure about your question. the HD Oil Stabiliser is typically added at the oil change and the add rate directions are on the bottle it says 20% add rate.. i dont know what your oil capacity is. i am going to guess it is 5 liters. if it is i would add the whole bottle and 4 liters of oil at your next oil change. if you are adding because you are dealing with an issue like an engine noise or a leak i would need more details. if you have a leak i would suggest our engine oil stop leak. if you have more questions or need clarification go to our website and call our office.

Q: Can I use this on synthetic oil Lucas makes one for synthetic oil as well but it is more expensive. Can this be added to synthetic oil as well?
10 years agoA: our HD Stabiliser product is compatible with synthetic oils but caution should be used with light viscosity oils and the Synthetic Oil Stabiliser is probably more appropriate. by light viscosity oils i mean 0w20, 5w20. thank you.
