Original Discontinued; New Version Not As Good

This Leviton 692 grounded cube tap adapter has been changed my the manufacturer and is no longer the same version that is shown in the picture. The newer version is larger, uglier, and a beige color instead of greyish white. The black version has also been changed, but remains black. If you are looking for the original version because it was slimmer and more attractive, forget it. Even the Leviton website still shows the older discontinued version, so perhaps they are trying to hide the inferior version. The model number remains unchanged, however.

This little outlet adapter was just what I needed to access an outlet that is blocked by furniture that cannot be moved to far enough left or right to plug in an electrical cord. This little gadget shifts the outlet to the side and can now be used regularly to charge my phone or plug in the vacuum etc.
