Excellent quality, timeless and tasteful appearance. Cleans up easy, cooking with it is effortless, heats very evenly. Lid keeps moisture cycling throughout the food, I’m absolutely impressed! Also loved the same day delivery from Canadian Tire!

Ok, But....

This is a good cast iron Dutch Oven. It has a tight fitting cover. The interior is smooth glazed and easy to clean. The exterior is a matte finish that hides fingerprints and smudges. However, if you use this in an oven, any food left on the exterior will bake on. The matte finish makes it hard to clean afterwards.

Terrible customer service from management

Order this product online for my convenience. As I wanted to make bread for the holiday season. When this product arrived it was not what I ordered. As I live in rural Quebec. The closest Canadian tire is about a half hour away. So I made the journey to said Canadian tire. The first young employee was great she understood the issue. However she didn’t not realize I wanted an exchange not a refund. I had made her aware the product was oval not round. So after 3 more other young employees try to figure the issue out. A manager finally came to assist. Who tryed to tell me I had ordered what I received. I specifically searched for a round Dutch oven. I did see the oval shaped ones as well. All being apart of this Tuscan collection. So now my convenience has been inconvenienced at my dollar. I had paid about 30 dollars in shipping. All to not receive the correct product. I had a terrible experience. As the manager hid behind 4, what looked to be 12 year olds. I knew this was going no where. Proper customer service needs to be addressed. This has made me not want to shop with you anymore. Thank you!

Q: Are you sure this is round? I went to Canadian Tire and I could only find white oval 5 qt ?

A: A customer asked me this, and after doing as much research online as I could, it appears there is only an oval choice. It doesn't say that in the description, and the picture looks round, but it is oval. Canadian Tire needs to clarify this on their website.

Q: is this made with any ptfe, pfoa, or non stick materials? most lagostina items list if it is ptfe/pfoa/non stick-free but this doesn't state anything anywhere. Being a bird owner these will kill my pet!
