App doesn't work

I've had this for months. No one is able to get the app feature to work. Just works as a regular faucet that I paid too much money for. Save your money

[Employee of kohler] My sensate allows me to move around the kitchen, cook, and clean my dishes without cross contamination. Further, the Konnect app allows me to direct specific measures and flows to assist in specific measures and cooking.

IMPORTANT. You need a third party device to make this work. KOHLER Konnect™ONLY works when paired with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple Home Kit. Faucet was a hard install. Outlet hose and some wires need to be longer. Below is a copy of KitchenAid Description of this faucet which makes it sound like you can connect to another device but not a must. Motion on/off works well. Turn my faucet on. Pour two cups. The Sensate® smart faucet with voice-activated technology dispenses measured amounts of water at your spoken command. Just say the words to turn the water on, fill containers to a preset level or dispense a specific quantity. In addition to voice control, this touchless faucet includes a motion sensor that turns water on and off with a wave of your hand. Sensate® provides two sprays to make daily kitchen tasks easier. The faucet works with the KOHLER Konnect™ app so you can monitor water usage and be notified of unusual flow.

Love the look and touchless part. Kohler Konnect with Amazon horrible.

During this pandemic having a touchless faucet has been great. The Kohler Konnect piece worked ok when I first used December 2019. Lately forget it. I ask for 4 cups and the faucet never shuts off. Now, I can't even get Alexa and the faucet to talk. Reset it daily and sometimes it will work but most times not. Would love it to be reliable especially since I'm doing so much cooking now.

Amazing innovation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kohler Sensate kitchen faucet with Kohler Konnect and voice activated technology is a faucet for today's world. It works with your smart home devices to be a touch free experience. My favorite feature is that it will pour your desired amount without needing to measure (minimum 8oz). If you prefer to turn on and off without voice you can simply wave your hand under it which is so convenient! The temperature memory works as it should. This faucet looks great and the high arch is convenient for both filling large items and for washing items. It's a great looking faucet with a fresh modern look.
