A: Hi Shauna, thank you for contacting the Whirlpool Central Advisors! Yes this model does come with a One Year Full Warranty from date of purchase. The warranty section of the Owner's Manual says KitchenAid will pay for your choice of: "Hassle-Free Replacement of your Stand Mixer by calling the Customer eXperience Center toll-free at 1-800-807-6777 OR The replacement parts and repair labor costs to correct defects in materials and workmanship. Service must be provided by an Authorized KitchenAid Service Center." However, it also says that KitchenAid will NOT pay for: "A. Repairs when your Stand Mixer is used in other than normal single family home use. B. Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse or abuse. C. Any shipping or handling costs to deliver your Stand Mixer to an Authorized Service Center. D. Replacement parts or repair labor costs for Stand Mixer attachments operated outside the 50 United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada." I hope this helps! Great features!

I am a rookie in the kitchen, from sourdough bread to chocolate chip cookies, this mixer is bar none. Effortless to operate, easy to clean and with the option to add attachments, this mixer is my go to not only for baking but for breakfast lunch and dinner too.

I make sourdough bread regularly and the mixer mixes and kneads the dough effortlessly and quickly. Have also used the wire whip attachment for other items. Wish I had purchased this Mixer a long time ago.

Broke on first use (Error of manufacturer?)

My Mixer broke after its first use on cookie dough! I had gotten this product a month ago, came in perfect condition, read the manual, did the dime test, looked at what attachments to use for what, and what speeds. Whipped my sugar and butter at around 5-6 speed. Went to 1/2 speed when I started adding the flower as recommended for cookies/ dough. When it started to mix, the motor suddenly stopped. We tested the outlets, checked the chord connection to make sure it wasn't loose, tried running it without the bowl, and it just would not start! I was so upset because I thought this would last me years! I took every precaution, and on first use, it broke. Definitely a manufacturer error, or they just don't make them like they used to. I really like this brand, and people around me have had their mixers for a while. I'm hoping this can get fixed and fast! Hopefully I can change my review :(
