Buy Something Else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drive belt blew up and cause so much damage that it will continually cause more damage to the machine. Poor design. Also, reverse almost doesn't exist. It is so slow and weak you will try to avoid it at all costs and end up using the blower in forward as much as possible. It's such an inconvenience.

Engine Power 5 Star. Amazing! Everything else, TERRIBLE! Cables freeze, shoot freezes, transmission slips! WASTE OF MONEY!!! Bought in 2020. Sent it back thinking the one machine was a lemon. Turns out they all suck. I will never purchase another. I tell everyone not to buy them!

Great power and ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently got this Unit to leave at my Mom's place which has a shared driveway. Total parking spots are 12 with a big middle portion having homes on both sides. I have cleared this driveway for many years. This year we had an extrordinary amount of snow and the ST330 performed like a CHAMP. I know the product well as I have owned multiple different Husqvarna snowblowers, This ST330 never bogged down and cleared the whole width of the 30 inches without any spillout!!! Even at speed 4!!! Absolute beast

Poor quality and workmanship

Super dissapointed with this model and husqavarna I love the saws so I thought this would be a good quality blower but when I got it I had to tighten the nut on the augur pulley making it self drive which I see there is a recall on now, adjust the drive cables don’t would actually drive and still is not super impressive in heavy snow, the cables i religiously lube and occasionally freeze if used In any kind of wet weather, auger impeller cable broke and now can’t find a replacement the dealer I bought it from doesn’t carry hardly any parts along with most others I have called and asked, any vendors I’ve found including husqavarna is out of stock and on back order from what I am told until at least until April thankfully I have a tractor I primarily plow my yard with but this is super frustrating and wish I never spent the money on it I had better results with my old craftsman snowblower off market place put this one to shame, maybe I’ll just utilize the motor and put on the craftsman chassis so I have sumthing that works and is reliable, and part out the rest to the next guy that can’t find parts for his brand new snowblower that he can’t use super frustrating.

Seventh year and still working well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in November 2018 and it was my first snow blower. I have a 500 foot drive, so I thought I needed something fairly fast. All in all that has probably been the right decision. Early and late season wet snow can take a lot of work, but snow blowers are always going to be at their best on powder, so that's not a condemnation of this machine. The down side of a large snow blower is that it is heavy, and somewhat difficult to control. I find the reverse gear very slow even at the maximum speed, so it can go forward very fast, but if you are thinking of going backwards and forwards you are going to spend a lot more time in reverse. Early on I broke a few shear pins at the top of the drive, where the city tends to plow me in. But I learned to take my time and avoid pulling in chunks of ice. So now I have a cache of spare shear pins that I haven't needed in a couple of years. I've gone through three scraper bars and four sets of skids. It is important to set the skids at the right height for what you want to clear. Same with the scraper, you need to pay attention. Oil changes aren't the easiest, but are typical for these machines. I usually find the heated hand grips get too warm. I am working hard and wearing gloves already, so the extra heat usually isn't needed after a while. Other than the slow reverse the other real disappointment is the headlight, but that was changed on later models. On my 2018 the headlight is obscured by the chute when it is firing to the right. Pretty stupid design.
