This was easy to assemble by myself. So far works very well. Motors are strong the incline is very quick to adjust. Very happy with purchase so far. Piston to hold the track up can be a little stubborn to let go to descend.

Started off great, ended with great disappointment

For the first year or so, this treadmill was great. And then the problems started. It would randomly start to incline and decline, it would speed up and slow down, and the worst part was when it would stop out of nowhere, throwing you off balance and almost falling off...so dangerous. At the 18 month mark, the drive belt deteriorated and needed to be replaced. Needless to say, Johnson/Horizon support was not willing to address any of these issues as it had passed the 1-year warranty mark. They wouldn't even cover the cost of a technician to visit to diagnose the issues. I could see things like this happening at the 10 or even 5 year mark, but at 18 months is unacceptable. Avoid this treadmill (and company) at all costs.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hello and thank you for checking. This treadmill can be fully assembled by the customer. It comes with the appropriate tools and instructions. Some customers prefer to have it professionally assembled due to the weight of the treadmill or just a lack of desire to do the assembly portion. If you can use basic hand tools, have a helper and second person to assist we find many customers are able to complete on their own. Thank you for considering Horizon.
