weird experience so far

I have no issues with the cooling function. it's very quiet and does a good job cooling a 350-400 sq ft room. However, the heating function is leaving me puzzled. Now that the weather is cool in the mornings and nights, I was anxious to use the heating function. I don't find that it heats very well. It's much noisier in heat mode than cool mode. If you leave it on for an extended period, it just keeps cycling on and off on it's own. I have no prior experience with heat pumps so I don't know whether this is normal or not. With the unit behind me, the air blowing out feels luke warm, even semi cool if that makes sense, not hot. If you stand in front of it, it feels warmer. Weird. I am not liking how this function performs. Why is the air not hotter ?, why does it cycle on and off on its own? it feels like there is something wrong with the unit and it's brand new.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This is a wonderful machine — quiet, and the oscillating function is excellent. BUT the box advises that this is heavy and requires two people to move it. They’re not kidding. Also, it’s TALL and heavy (75 lbs.) and barely fit in my SUV. I had to get help to muscle it into the fully-reclined passenger seat and seatbelt it in so it wouldn’t move in transit. It has casters on it, but you have to unpack it to use them. Getting it down four stairs to our cottage… oy. So don’t buy this unless you have (a) a helper and (b) some means of getting it up and down any stairs. The machine itself is super.

Best portable AC unit I’ve ever purchased so far!

It’s very quiet and not a huge eyesore compared to other units I have owned. I love that I can set temperatures and scheduled times to turn on or off through the app on my phone and not have to even be home to do so. I also love the feature of being able to turn off the control lights on the unit so it does not brighten up my room in the middle of the night while I’m trying to sleep. It is rather heavy, if you need to lift it, but the unit is on wheels to move around. It cools not only my bedroom but if I leave my door open, it will cool the main floor of my house. It cools the room fairly quickly with the fast cooling option, which is a nice feature on really hot days. I have yet to try the other functions like the dehumidifier or the heating options but I will be trying the heating option out very soon as it’s starting to get colder during the nights. I will update my review once I have tried these features. I have high confidence that the other features will work just as well as the cooling feature.
