Hillman square drive trim screws are the perfect choice for fastening baseboards, moldings and cabinets to walls and studs, especially in places where finishing nails won't cut it. The miniature heads allow the screws to countersink neatly into the wood, hiding them from sight for a finished look. The stainless steel construction means they're ideal for drywall, particleboard, metal and some plastics, and the 35-count packaging provides plenty for small finishing jobs around the house.

Larger than expected

The information provided online and on the package is incorrect - Spec and label say #7 screw. Major thread diameter measures as #8. The thread count is 8 tpi, coarser than expected for a trim screw. Too large and will have to find other fasteners to finish project.

Great trim screws

Chose these to use on outdoor window trim on a seasonal building. Stainless is the best choice for the long run. The point design worked well on the engineered wood, with less of a hole to fill.
