Hillman Hex Lag Screw is designed for fastening heavy objects to wood.The zinc finish provides rust protection, ideal for outdoor projects like retaining walls, deck frames and playgrounds. The coarse threads grip wood firmly yet require minimal clearance above the surface. Installation is simple using a socket or wrench on the hexagonal head.For masonry, use with a lag shield.
