Pilot hole size not marked

The only problem I found was that there were no directions of pilot hole size. Realized that 1/4 " screw required a 3/16" pilot hole.

Cheap low quality. Heads spin off before setting in concrete. Would not recommend.

Work well to secure Cement board. Need to be careful into Concrete using Drill or impact driver had 2 break off required chipping away concrete about them to remove. Then used hand ratchet to tighten into concrete to hold stair post.

Q: Why is the hex head rounded off ?? Nothing will grip it, Sockets and wrenches just slide off. You can only make it work with a screw driver, and that is no fun when turning it into concrete.

  • A: Mine worked fine with a socket attachment on my impact driver. May I suggest you ensure you are using an Imperial socket and/or wrench and not metric.
