Screw repair on baby grand piano

A lot of the older screws on my baby grand piano were coming out, making the hinge of the lid very loose and insecure. They were an unusual size. Kudos to the young man who spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect fit. I purchased wood glue to help with the replacement of screws in the hinge of the baby grand piano. As recommended, I made shims of toothpick pieces, put the wood glue on, and then replaced with new screws. It has created a nice tight fit and the hinges are very secure.
