I bought this as as a lighter option for searing meat, as cast iron is too heavy for me. It’s okay, but you definitely can’t get a good sear on your meat, as you can’t place it on high heat.

Early on seems to heat evenly, do not need to move the bacon from middle to outside half way thru. Only 2 of us but should be able to fit 6 strips easy enough.
