Please note that under the Features and Specifications section, we indicate a runtime of up to 45 minutes when using a Greenworks 60V 4.0Ah battery. This estimate reflects optimal conditions, and actual runtime can vary depending on factors such as grass height, density, and thickness.

Hello Longbrancher. Thank you for reviewing Greenworks 60V Push Mower and Trimmer Kit. We appreciate your feedback and are glad you had some pros and cons to share with us. We use information like this and work with the various teams within Greenworks to market, design, and sell the products are customers want or need. The string trimmer must be turned on and you will need to tap the bump knob on the ground to release additional line. Trimmer line of about 1/4" will feed out each time you bump the head. As long the mechanics for the line release are understood and exercised you should have no issues releasing line. This trimmer is equipped with a line cut-off blade on the guard. The line cut off blade
continuously trims the line to ensure a consistent and efficient cut diameter. Advance line
whenever you hear the engine running faster than normal, or when trimming efficiency
diminishes. This will maintain best performance and keep line long enough to advance properly.
This trimmer is currently set at the 11 in. cutting swath. To adjust to a cutting swath of 13 in.:
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Remove the blade screws then rotate the line cut-off blade 180°.
3. Tighten the blade screw.

Batteries are the costliest items to manufacture and ship in any kit. Full kits including a tool, battery, and charger are priced affordably so that consumers can begin building that line of tools and move forward purchasing tool-only units. When you purchase batteries on their own, it is more notable the cost that they carry. Alternatively additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time.
