Adjusting the straps is a pain.

I bought this in February 2025 when my grandchildren outgrew their infant carriers. I had planned on installing it in one vehicle and leaving it there, but I ended up having to moving it back and forth between vehicles a number of times. The anchor strap attaches with clips that are difficult to remove. The anchor strap is very difficult to tighten. I have to kneel on the carseat and pull upward on the strap with all of my strength and even then, the carseat has way too much movement. The mother of one of my grandchildren is strong enough that she manages to tighten that strap, but with great effort. A friend has Graco car seats for her kids and I've never had any difficulty tightening the anchor straps enough to make the seats snug against the seat of the car. I assumed getting this carseat would be the same. Wrong! The shoulder straps are difficult to tighten. I never had issues tightening my aforementioned friend's kids' car seats, but this seat is awful. Having experienced installing it into another car on more than one occasion, both of my daughters in-law and one of my sons agree. It's way too late to return this carseat, but I wanted to leave a review anyway. It's disappointing to spend the kind of money that these carseats cost only to have it become an exercise in frustration with every use. I didn't realize how much I would have to readjust it every time I switched which child was riding in it, and how difficult it would be simply switching it back and forth between vehicles.

Confusing product

Such a frustrating product to install. So many stickers on it that barely explain what to do. Instructions are confusing. Video instructions are worse, they just say “do this”, “do that” without actually showing you how they did it. Just trash.
