It’s been a week and it’s still completely movable. I can wipe it off with my finger. It never hardens or cures. Now my gutters not only leak, they look awful. CT refuses to refund me because it’s open/used but how else am I supposed to know whether or not it works?

No, I do not recommend this product.

You may also check the "Use by" date printed on the product container to determine if the product is still within its usable shelf life. Oftentimes, expired product has a much slower cure time or may not cure at all. As with all items sold through retailers, a product exhibiting an issue should be returned to the place of purchase for exchange or refund. Q: What is the allowable temperature range for application? Can I use this product between 0 and 5C?

A: application temp 0C to 48C. but for 30 minute tack free cure, it must be at 18.3C or higher. if you apply at at low temp, expect 24 hour+ cure time.

A: Thank you for the question. GE Gutter Silicone 2 Sealant may be used on both brick and metal surfaces. While this sealant won't blemish most metal surfaces, we recommend testing on a small, indiscreet area before use to ensure compatibility and suitable and acceptable results before proceeding with the entire project.
