    Q: Can this be used for exterior applications such as trailer wiring? Does it provide a waterproof seal and is it weather resistant?

    • A: This heat shrink should work just fine for trailer wiring. We do also have heavy wall heat shrink tubing available that offers an adhesive lining for an extra strong seal, but those might be a little too big for trailer wiring. I hope this helps!

    • A: Hi there, assuming it is just the insulation that is surrounding the wire then yes that would be a perfect use. If the cord isn't working entirely you'd likely need to replace. Hope this helps!

    Q: What do the sizes mean does 1/4 * 1/8 * 3 mean the tubing is 1/4 inch before being heated, shrinking to 1/8 inch, and the tube is 3 inches long? if not that, then what do the numbers mean?

    • A: The dimensions are 1/4” preshrink diameter, and 1/8” post shrink diameter. The pre-cut length is 3”.
