No double sided tape provided. Why do other windows film prodcuts provide the tape with their product , except for this one. Be prepared to pay extra for the tape

Tape doesn't stick

Absolute garbage. The 2 sided tape provided is sticky in some places and not sticky in others so you end up with film that's not completely stuck but tears if you try to peel it back to fix it.
Don't waste your money, look for the 3M stuff
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: The film is clear, but there is no double side tape in the package. It was an unexpected, because my previos films have the tape included. Tape is an additional cost

Q: Is it easy to remove the double sided tape and does it leave a mark on window frames?

A: Easy enough to remove, but with my OLDER window frames (1950's house) it has pulled off paint chips from time to time. Otherwise no mark on the "good" frame. [My biggest pet peeve is that they don't include the tape in the film package anymore!]

Q: Do you need to buy double sided tape separately in order to install the film? Or does it cling to your window without tape?

A: You would need to buy the tape separately as this is a bulk roll of film. Frost King makes a great double sided tape that is sold at Canadian Tire stores (0640973). There are also the option of the window kits, which have the film/tape bundled together, also sold by Frost King at Canadian Tire.

Q: How thick plastic is it in "mils", product is a kit - description says it comes with tape !

A: This item is .75 mil. Unfortunately this does not come with tape, the point has been removed.
