Q: Are these recycling bags made out of recycled plastic?

A: The box only mentions recycled material in the carton - 75% post-consumer, 25% pre-consumer. And that they're made in Canada from imported materials. I would assume it's not recycled plastic based on price - it's much cheaper for manufacturing to use virgin plastic, and only a small portion of plastic we recycle actually gets recycled. Since they mentioned the recycled cardboard, I would imagine they'd do the same for the plastic if it were recycled.
