Q: If the user manual says "DO NOT use the firepit for cooking", why are product photos showing s'mores beside it?

A: What it means is do not put a pot or pan on top of it to cook things in. That would not allow any air flow. Using the flames to cook something, anything, on a stick is quite a different process.
