They do the job if you are looking for something cheap that lights well. But, you must be careful to not use a whipper to trim grass near them as they will break, the plastic is very cheap.

We have several container gardens in the backyard and we have lit up each group with a couple of lights and they are bright enough that they make circles on the ground.. and with the 6 we bought it lights a midnight pathway
