A fun item for Halloween night, but buyers - beware

Hoping this one's better than the light-up plastic pumpkin I bought last year. The batteries in that one leaked and damaged the light so much that I had to replace it. The price seems higher this year; let's hope it lasts longer. Canadian Tire or the manufacturer should attach a note to it reminding purchasers to remove the batteries if they're going to store the pumpkin till next Halloween.

Nice addition to Halloween decorations

So we decided to invest in eternal jack o'lanterns this year and went with this pumpkin right here. Perfect size, convenient, and easy to operate.
All was excellent the first couple of nights,
When we had him shinning from our window Halloween display at night.
Then his light began to fade, so we swapped out the pre-installed batteries for new ones,
All was well for half the night; he shone spooky and bright!
Until, sadly, the dreaded fading began anew...
All kidding aside, I think the tiny lightbulb is a little finicky, so it's best that the jack o'lantern's turned on for short periods of time only (like, say, all hallows eve) else you face the chance of shorting it out. Lessons learned!
Not a bad product at all, it was my own ignorance that caused the light-fading issue, I'd still recommend it/buy it again.
