Strong enough for a big dude.

It is very sturdy: I'm 340 lbs and don't feel like it will suddenly let me down. It is easy to open and close one-handed with a flick of the wrist. I use it when I'm building a fire in my woodburning stove - it saves my knees and/or back! My only wish is that the seat was not a blight white (why not grey, black or even beige?) but that is not enough to deduct a star.
