Nice item with rubbish instructions.

Nice item with rubbish instructions. I have built/put together dozens of items over the years but, for something so simple, the instructions made no sense. I started to put it together from the instructions and with 2 possible ways of putting the shelves together I tried my best to follow them and followed the best guess which turned out wrong. There are 2 types of support bars that look exactly the same on the instructions. My advice is to ignore the instructions and go with what you see on the photo on the box. When finished the lamp is very sturdy and looks quite sophisticated, I am happy that I bought it, just frustrated with the awful instructions.
