The Item in store was wrong, and did not match the online product listing you see here. Instead it was a wood clamp set. The employees figured it was a shared SKU due to discontinued item, or just a disagreement between physical and online stores. Either way, I couldn't hang my punching bag, so I give this experience the lowest score.

A: i doubt you forgot anything....two screws into a wood beam with a bolt holding the chain. you can try taping the bolt and chain to see if that cuts down on the noise....

Q: How do I get the unit to swivel without the spin of the bag causing the centre bolt to loosen? If I tighten, the bag won't swivel.

A: Hello, This unit shouldn’t swivel. The chain assembly that comes with the bag should be the only thing that swivels. This unit should stay in place and be tight when putting together. I hope this answers your question. Thank you!

Q: Can it fall out? We just bought a cheep hook from here and when i started hitting the bag it tore up the ceiling until it fell out. can it happen with this one?

A: The heavy bag hanger needs to be affixed to a beam in the ceiling. If it is just screwed into the ceiling (drywall or ceiling tiles) this won’t hold the weight of the heavy bag. Please follow the instruction manual provided with the product to prevent any future incidents.
