It appears from the picture as if the carrier comes with the elf inside. I bought 8 of them thinking it did and it ended up being only a picture of the elf. It should be clearly stated on large letters that it is only a career without an elf.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: We leave the carrier open at night before the elf has left. If my daughter would like to take her elf with her the next day to a special event she tells Candycane about it and asks if she could land in there when she comes back through the night. I also did get special gloves which we have used in the event we have to move the elf (she is as blocking the TV once lol), so as long as our skin doesn’t touch her it’s safe. My daughter was super young when I got those so she just believed I had texted Santa and he said it was ok as long as our skin didn’t touch Candycane. 😉
