Another victim of lost quality

I have happily used Dupli-Color paints on many vehicles over many decades. Until last week. I usually buy Dupli-Color paint at Canadian Tire. I have babied my early 90's Honda Accord since nearly new. (Frost White – NH538. Barcode # 0-2691671746 – 7). About two years ago, planning to repair a few rock chips and bumper scuffs, I bought a spray can of Dupli-Color. I finally got to it last weekend. After at least 10 minutes of shaking up the paint the first light coat of paint sprayed over the repaired spots beautifully. When I was finished I inverted the can and cleared out the nozzle as always. The next day the second coat started to spray on perfectly, but then, the valve stuck open! By the time I gave up trying to pull the valve off the can there was paint all over my garage and myself. See pic. At this point, I wrote to Dupli-Color who, after a few days offered to send me a replacement can. However, I had already bought more Dupli-Color paint: I bought another can which worked well until the paint level was getting low. There was still paint to be used, maybe 10 ~ 20%, but the nice even spray became splatters. I went back to Canadian Tire and bought the last one they had on the shelf. This was was now the third can I bought. Right from the beginning the valve leaked badly. At least it didn't stick open like the first one but it dripped all over my hand, the floor and my work. (Picture attached) .The spray wasn't even - droplets all over the repaired surface I was trying to finish. I'm very disappointed and I'm sorry to say that I'm done with Dupli-Color.

No, I do not recommend this product.
