Q: Is this compatible with Mastercraft Rotary Tools? Specifically the Mastercraft Deluxe Rotary Tool Kit. It has 1/8", 3/32", 1/16" Collets and 5000 - 35000 RPM.

Q: does this shaping tool remove material easily and how quickly? I have to remove about 2 inches of material in an unusual shape from a piece of 2 X 6. Will this be the tool I am looking for?

A: There are many factors that can affect the accessories performance. The 543 Carbide Cutting/Shaping Wheel can be used to “cut” the wood. If you need to “hollow” out an area in wood, the 9935 Structured Tooth Tungsten Carbide Cutter is a better choice.

Q: How do I use this tool? Would I be able to sharpen my lawn mower with this? How would I do that? Thanks!

A: No that wouldn't be recommended, but Dremel does have a Lawn Mower and Garden Tool Sharpener, it's CT product # 54-4755.
