Cordless Dry Hand Vacuum

I purchased a DCV501HB Cordless Dry Hand Vacuum. I leave it in my garage so I don't have to go to my shop to retrieve my wet/dry vacuum. Works great for cleaning my vehicles. Seems to have plenty of power to do a good job. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the filter has to be tapped to clean and cannot use an air hose. It don't get eveything out of it by just tapping it.

Terrific Little Vacuum

I bought this little vacuum cleaner about a month ago, and it has exceeded my expectations. It works great, with good suction, and a 5 Ah battery runs about 21 minutes at full speed. I didn't get a chance to try the Flex Volt 60V 9Ah battery, but I'm sure the runtime will be much higher.

It doesn’t suck (but it does create a vacuum)

This is probably my most underwhelming Dewalt purchase. I wanted a handheld vacuum that would play nice with the investment I’ve already made in Dewalt batteries, instead of starting on another platform. It ticks that box, and not a lot else. The tool feels cheaply made, like I wouldn’t trust it to take as much of a beating as the rest of my Dewalt tools. The filter clogs quickly, and then suction drops off a cliff. It also feels like the accessories are never quite the right attachment for the job at hand. It’s an OK vacuum, but it feels very inconsistent with the high quality I’ve experienced with other Dewalt tools.

Yes, I recommend this product.

A: I believe the Dewalt Product Expert is mistaken. Bare tools mean there is no battery and charger, but typically have the tool's accessories. This is also mentioned in the CDN Tire specifications listed above..."Bare tool comes with 7 attachments / accessories, battery and charger sold separately".
